WORKING PAPERS: We provide full documentation of our results and suggestions/recommendations for changes or improvements to the existing accounting systems and internal controls will be made to Chief & Council, or other management where appropriate.
When the claims have been approved; the band has received the refunds and, our invoices have been paid in full; we provide: “a copy of the claims that were submitted on the band’s behalf - including our “working papers”! We guarantee this in our Engagement Agreement! These documents are usually kept secret by other firms - which, in our opinion is an unacceptable practice! After all, we are paid to file the claims on the band's behalf therefore, a copy of these claims BELONG TO YOU! Don't let the other firms trick you into thinking they can not provide these to you for confidentiality reasons |
