The Ontario Government has agreed to refund the Provincial portion of the HST paid by Status Indians from July 1, 2010 to August 31, 2010.
The rules are as follows:
a) qualifying purchases must have original receipts;
b) a copy of the front and back of your status card must be attached to the form;
c) claims must be submitted by no later than November 1, 2010
In order to address the HST Tax Refund Claims for individual band members, several band administration offices have requested our help in preparing the applications for refunds for their band members, in addition to the Tax Recovery Services that we already provide for the administration offices.
Since there has been such a heavy demand for this service and, the time limitations to apply for the refunds are so short, we can not be on-site at every band to file the rebates.
We are offering day clinics for bands in the Southern Ontario area during the month of SEPTEMBER only! Dates are booking fast - call today to schedule your appointment. (SORRY - WE THERE ARE NO MORE DATES AVAILABLE FOR THE DAY CLINICS!)
Our fee for this service is as follows:
$25.00 early bird fee - applies to claims received by September 30, 2010
$40.00 fee - applies to claims received after September 30, 2010.
